The goal of this meeting is to give researchers and practitioners the
opportunity to discuss recent advances in metaheuristics for logistics
and transportation. We invite to submit an extended abstract/short paper
(maximum 6 pages). In order to allow all researchers and students
interested in the subject to attend the workshop, the participation is
free of charge.
Topics covered:
- New metaheuristics for vehicle routing problems;
- Extensions: additional constraints, periodic problems,
location-routing, etc;
- Hazardous material transportation;
- Supply chain optimization;
- Freight and passenger transportation;
- Industrial applications;
- ...
Deadline for submission: September 1st, 2008
Researchers and practitioners working in the topics of the meeting are
invited to visit the web site or send an email to the organizing
committee ([email protected]) for more information. After the meeting,
authors will be invited to prepare a full paper, that will be subjected
to a regular refereeing process for publication in Computer and
Operations Research.
