ORPA 5

The ORPA (Operational Research Practice for Africa) 2010 conference will be held on March 18-20, 2010. The conference will be hosted by Cheikh Anta Diop University and will focus on the use of Operations Research in Africa to aid development and promote sustainable growth. The ORPA 2010 conference is intended to bring together academics from around the world to discuss and present some of the most recent and relevant developments in our field. The conference also promises to bring industry and academia together to encourage the formation of relationships that result in effective and beneficial implementations of OR in practice throughout Africa. A special issue of papers based on research presented at the ORPA 2010 conference will be published in a special issue of International Transaction on Operational Research (ITOR).
