Nick Wzientek serves is the Vice President of Operations Research and Analytics at Rocky Mountain Resources responsible for the application and validation of advanced analytics techniques to drive profitably across all assets.
Prior to Rocky Mountain Resources, Nick served as Director of Pricing for Vistar, a snack, candy, concessions, and beverage distributor. Where he was responsible for creating a new internal capability in pricing analytics to drive organizational sales and profit performance. Prior to Vistar, Nick established and led the Enterprise Analytics team at Sports Authority where his team provided analytical services across all domains of retail including operations, merchandising, finance, marketing, and eCommerce. His team specialized in forecasting, longitudinal data analysis, experimental design, mathematical programming, and customer analysis.
Prior to Sports Authority, Nick worked for Booz Allen Hamilton as an Operations Research Analyst where he supported the United States Air Force in a variety capacities including planning and operations, personnel, foreign affairs, and foreign language development. Nick initially started his career as an officer in the United States Air Force, serving as a B-2 Flight Test Analyst and employing experimental design techniques to evaluate and assess the mission effectiveness of the B-2.
Nick holds the CAP designation, a M.S. in Operations Research from Southern Methodist University, and a B.S. in Operations Research from the United States Air Force Academy.
