INFORMS, the premier international association for the decision and data sciences, proudly announces its 2024 class of Fellows – leaders whose innovative contributions have transformed industries, improved lives worldwide and significantly advanced INFORMS’ fields of interests. These luminaries will be celebrated at the 2024 INFORMS Annual Meeting, held October 20-23, in Seattle, Washington.

BALTIMORE, MD, October 30, 2023 – INFORMS, the largest association for the decision and data sciences, has awarded the 2023 Daniel H. Wagner Prize for Excellence in the Practice of Advanced Analytics and Operations Research to the Decision Engineering team from Intel for their work on the transition of semiconductor products from a single large monolithic chip to an assembly of dozens of small chiplets (aka “disaggregation”). This work has realized more than $500 million in benefits so far. The award was presented at the 2023 INFORMS Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona.

Kimball Medal for recognition of distinguished service to INFORMS and to the profession of operations research and the management sciences (OR/MS). Both recipients have been standout members of INFORMS, volunteering their time to their peers and the profession as a whole.
